Finding us when you arrive on the island

DIRECTIONS
FROM CLARIS AIRPORT
When you leave Claris Airport turn left at the main road. Head south and you will come to a small bridge, proceed up the hill, when you reach the top you will get a great view of Medlands Beach.

Follow the road down the hill, past the quarry at the bottom, along the causeway and you will see a sign on your left MASON ROAD EXIT, turn down the little road on the right where the blue arrow is, turn right again and you are now in Mason Road.
​
A hundred metres along on your left you will see two letterboxes (one green, the other mosaic with No 11 on the front.) Directly ahead of you is a steep driveway, proceed up the driveway, past the backpackers on the left and a large Pohutakawa tree on the right.

Ruru House - Take the first driveway on the right (a short distance) to arrive at Ruru House.
​
Pitokuku House – Take the second driveway on the right and carry on down around to the left following the signs and you will arrive at Pitokuku House.

Tree House – Take the third driveway on the right, following the signs, and you will arrive at the Tree House.
FROM TRYPHENA WHARF
Follow the main road past Mulberry Grove (school on your left) Gooseberry Flat (lovely sandy beach) and on to Pah Beach pass The Stonewall Store, Pah Café on your right, cross over the concrete bridge and immediately turn right at the hall with the mosaic wall and head over the hill to Medlands Beach.

You will get a fabulous view of the Beach as you come down the hill.
Come down the hill and take the first road on your left (Mason Road) just past the little church.
